BI-836858 (2 ug/mL; 48 h) blocks the CD33-mediated inhibitory signaling pathway in MDS bone marrow cells and reduces the expression of IL-10 and TGFβ [2]. BI-836858 (2 ug/mL) specifically blocks CD33 (S100A9)-mediated ROS production in U937 cells, healthy PBMCs, and primary MDS BM HSPCs [2].
