| References | 1. Sala G, et al. An ErbB-3 antibody, MP-RM-1, inhibits tumor growth by blocking ligand-dependent and independent activation of ErbB-3/Akt signaling. Oncogene. 2012;31(10):1275-1286. [HB116116] |

| Biological activity | MP-RM-1 (0.01-10 ug/mL; 15-120 min) inhibits NRG-1β-dependent phosphorylation of ErbB-3 and Akt in a dose- and time-dependent manner in breast cancer cells MDA-MB-435 and melanoma cells IR-8 [1]. MP-RM-1 (10 ug/mL) significantly inhibits the colony-forming ability of IR-8 melanoma cells [1]. MP-RM-1 (20 mg/kg; i.p.; twice weekly) significantly inhibits the growth of ErbB-3 melanoma xenografts in nude mice, and reduces ErbB-3 expression and Akt phosphorylation levels in tumor tissues [1]. MP-RM-1 (20 mg/kg; i.p.; twice weekly) significantly inhibits the growth of DU-145 prostate cancer xenografts in nude mice [1]. |
