Dual endothelin-1/VEGF signal peptide receptor (DEspR/FBXW7-AS1) is a ~9 kDa protein. Dual receptor for both endothelin-1 and the signal sequence of vascular endothelial growth factor A. Does not act as a receptor for angiotensin-2. Does not bind the VEGFA mature protein. May play a role in angiogenesis with a significant role in cardiovascular and neural development.
