背景

Dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (quinone), mitochondrial (DHODH) is a ~42 kDa protein. Catalyzes the conversion of dihydroorotate to orotate with quinone as electron acceptor. Required for UMP biosynthesis via de novo pathway.
