背景

Cystatin-M (CST6) is a ~16 kDa protein. High affinity inhibitor for cathepsin L, cathepsin L2 (cathepsin V), and legumain. Involved in the regulation of epidermal cornification, and hair follicle morphogenesis and maintenance.
