Myelin-oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) is a ~28 kDa protein. Mediates homophilic cell-cell adhesion. Minor component of the myelin sheath. May be involved in completion and/or maintenance of the myelin sheath and in cell-cell communication.
