Septin-9 (SEPTIN9) is a ~65 kDa protein. Filament-forming cytoskeletal GTPase. May play a role in cytokinesis (Potential). May play a role in the internalization of 2 intracellular microbial pathogens, Listeria monocytogenes and Shigella flexneri.
