Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.

P2X purinoceptor 5 (P2RX5) is a ~49 kDa protein. ATP-gated nonselective transmembrane cation channel permeable to potassium, sodium and calcium. Unlike other P2RX receptors, the P2X5 receptor is also permeable to chloride. May play a supporting role in the inflammatory response.
