Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.

Desmocollin-1 (DSC1) is a ~99 kDa protein. A component of desmosome cell-cell junctions which are required for positive regulation of cellular adhesion. Required for desmosome adhesion strength between the granular layers of the epidermis, as a result moderates epidermal proliferation and differentiation. Is therefore required to maintain postnatal epidermal barrier function and normal hair follicle morphology into adulthood.
