Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.

Phosphatidylinositol transfer protein beta isoform (PITPNB) is a ~31 kDa protein. Catalyzes the transfer of phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine between membranes. Also catalyzes the transfer of sphingomyelin. Required for COPI-mediated retrograde transport from the Golgi to the endoplasmic reticulum; phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine transfer activity is essential for this function.
