背景

Membrane-associated protein VP24 (Marburg VP24) is a ~28 kDa protein. May act as a minor matrix protein that plays a role in assembly of viral nucleocapsid and virion budding. Unlike Ebola VP24, mVP24 has no measurable impact of host dendritic cell function.
