背景

Gag polyprotein (p24) is a ~47 kDa protein. The matrix domain targets Gag, Gag-Pro and Gag-Pro-Pol polyproteins to the plasma membrane via a multipartite membrane binding signal, that includes its myristoylated N-terminus.
