| 背景 | This product is a rat anti-mouse CD200 monoclonal antibody, clone OX-90, of the rat IgG2a isotype, raised in rat and reactive with mouse CD200 (UniProt O54901). OX-90 is a well-characterized clone widely used to detect and functionally engage mouse CD200, and validated here for flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry. It is supplied in a low-endotoxin, in-vivo-ready format: research grade at less than 1 EU/mg (greater than 95% purity) or ultra-low endotoxin at less than 0.5 EU/mg (98% purity), so it is suitable for animal dosing where endotoxin contamination would otherwise confound immune readouts. Because it is offered in scalable milligram-to-gram quantities, it supports repeat-dosing tumour, autoimmune and transplant studies as well as bulk in-vitro and ex-vivo work. As a rat IgG2a on a mouse target, it is a natural fit for isotype-controlled functional experiments. All material is for research use only (RUO). The clone/isotype/purity make it appropriate for in-vivo blockade of the CD200-CD200R axis and for immunophenotyping.
CD200 (OX2) is a broadly expressed type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily, carrying two Ig-like domains. It is found on many cell types including neurons, endothelium, thymocytes, B cells, activated T cells and some tumour cells. CD200 has no signalling motifs of its own; instead it acts as a ligand for its receptor CD200R, which is expressed predominantly on myeloid cells such as macrophages, dendritic cells, mast cells and granulocytes, and on some lymphoid subsets. Engagement of CD200R delivers an inhibitory, immunosuppressive signal that restrains myeloid activation and helps maintain immune homeostasis and tissue tolerance. The CD200-CD200R axis thus functions as an immune checkpoint: it dampens inflammation, but tumours can co-opt CD200 overexpression to suppress anti-tumour immunity, making the pathway of interest in cancer, autoimmunity, transplantation and neuroinflammation.
