背景	Neural cell adhesion molecule L1 (CD171/L1CAM) is a ~140 kDa protein. Neural cell adhesion molecule involved in the dynamics of cell adhesion and in the generation of transmembrane signals at tyrosine kinase receptors. During brain development, critical in multiple processes, including neuronal migration, axonal growth and fasciculation, and synaptogenesis. In the mature brain, plays a role in the dynamics of neuronal structure and function, including synaptic plasticity.

Flow Cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human CD171 antibody.HeLa cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human CD171 antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HB159107 ,Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-mouse antibody (Catalog # MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
