背景	CD63 antigen (LAMP3) is a ~25 kDa protein. Functions as a cell surface receptor for TIMP1 and plays a role in the activation of cellular signaling cascades. Plays a role in the activation of ITGB1 and integrin signaling, leading to the activation of AKT, FAK/PTK2 and MAP kinases. Promotes cell survival, reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton, cell adhesion, spreading and migration, via its role in the activation of AKT and FAK/PTK2. Plays a role in VEGFA signaling via its role in regulating the internalization of KDR/VEGFR2. Plays a role in intracellular vesicular transport processes, and is required for normal trafficking of the PMEL luminal domain that is essential for the development and maturation of melanocytes.
Note	For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. For research use only.

Flow cytometry

Flow-cytometry using PE anti-human CD63 antibody. HepG2 cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an PE anti-human CD63 monoclonal antibody (Catalog HY592227, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
