背景

Metalloreductase STEAP2 is a ~56 kDa protein. Integral membrane protein that functions as a NADPH-dependent ferric-chelate reductase, using NADPH from one side of the membrane to reduce a Fe(3+) chelate that is bound on the other side of the membrane. Mediates sequential transmembrane electron transfer from NADPH to FAD and onto heme, and finally to the Fe(3+) chelate. Can also reduce Cu(2+) to Cu(1+).

NoteFor flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. For research use only.

  • Flow cytometry

    Flow-cytometry using PE anti-human STEAP2 antibody. LNCAP cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an PE anti-human STEAP2 monoclonal antibody (Catalog HA962927, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
