Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.

Testis anion transporter 1 (SLC26A8) is a ~109 kDa protein. Antiporter that mediates the exchange of sulfate and oxalate against chloride ions across a membrane. Stimulates anion transport activity of CFTR. May cooperate with CFTR in the regulation of chloride and bicarbonate ions fluxes required for activation of the ADCY10/PKA pathway during sperm motility and sperm capacitation. May play a role in sperm tail differentiation and motility and hence male fertility.
