| 背景 | This is an Armenian hamster IgG monoclonal antibody, clone HM48-1, that recognises mouse CD48 (SLAMF2). HM48-1 is one of the most widely used and best-characterised anti-mouse CD48 clones, employed both as a flow-cytometry reagent and, increasingly, in functional and in-vivo immunology studies where CD48-CD2/CD244 (2B4) interactions are being probed. Because CD48 is broadly expressed across haematopoietic cells, this clone is a useful tool for interrogating leukocyte adhesion, co-stimulation and NK/T-cell regulation in mouse models. The antibody is supplied in a low-endotoxin, in-vivo-ready format (research-grade less than 1 EU/mg; ultra-low-endotoxin option less than 0.5 EU/mg) and is available in bulk milligram-to-gram quantities to support repeat dosing across treatment cohorts and longitudinal studies. CD48 (SLAMF2, BLAST-1) is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein of the SLAM (signalling lymphocyte activation molecule) family, encoded by Cd48 (UniProt P18181 in mouse). It is expressed on essentially all haematopoietic cells, including T and B lymphocytes, NK cells, dendritic cells, monocytes/macrophages and mast cells. CD48 serves as a ligand for two receptors: CD2 (low affinity) and, more importantly in mouse, CD244/2B4 (high affinity). Through these interactions CD48 contributes to adhesion and immunological-synapse stabilisation between antigen-presenting cells and lymphocytes, and helps tune NK- and T-cell activation, cytotoxicity and cytokine output. Because CD244-CD48 engagement can deliver activating or inhibitory signals depending on context and SAP-family adaptor availability, CD48 is an important node in innate and adaptive immune regulation, and it is also implicated in mast-cell responses and inflammation. |
