| 背景 | This product is a research-grade biosimilar of Tamtuvetmab, supplied as an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of the originator veterinary antibody for research use only. It is not the licensed drug and is not intended for clinical or diagnostic use in animals. Tamtuvetmab is a chimeric (dog/rat) monoclonal antibody directed against canine CD52, originally developed as a veterinary immunotherapeutic (marketed as Tactress) and USDA-conditionally licensed for canine T-cell lymphoma. This biosimilar reproduces the binding specificity of the originator around the canine CD52 target and is built on a canine IgG framework, making it a useful reference reagent for comparative and mechanistic studies. As with ichor.bio's other in-vivo research antibodies, it is produced at research grade with low endotoxin (typically <1 EU/mg) and is available in bulk milligram-to-gram quantities suited to functional assays, characterisation work, and use as a positive control or benchmark. Investigators studying canine CD52 biology, antibody-dependent effector mechanisms, or veterinary immuno-oncology models can use it to probe target engagement without relying on scarce clinical material. All applications should be independently validated for the intended experimental system. CD52 (CAMPATH-1 antigen; UniProt Q28896 in dog) is a very small, heavily glycosylated glycoprotein anchored to the cell surface by a GPI linkage. Its mature peptide is only around a dozen amino acids, with most of the molecule's mass contributed by carbohydrate, and it is thought to help carry and orient surface glycans rather than signal directly. In the immune system CD52 is broadly expressed on lymphocytes, including T cells, B cells, monocytes and other mononuclear cells, which makes it an attractive handle for depleting or modulating these populations. Because the antigen sits densely and accessibly on the outer membrane, antibodies against it can trigger potent effector functions such as complement-dependent cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. In the dog, CD52 expression on T-cell malignancies underlies the rationale for anti-canine CD52 therapy in T-cell lymphoma. CD52 is also expressed in the epididymis, consistent with its originally described reproductive-tract role. | ||||
