背景	Oncostatin-M (OSM) is a ~28 kDa protein. Growth regulator. Inhibits the proliferation of a number of tumor cell lines. Stimulates proliferation of AIDS-KS cells. It regulates cytokine production, including IL-6, G-CSF and GM-CSF from endothelial cells. Uses both type I OSM receptor (heterodimers composed of LIFR and IL6ST) and type II OSM receptor (heterodimers composed of OSMR and IL6ST).

Western blot analysis was performed using anti-OSM monoclonal antibody at 1ug/mL on various samples.

Bioactivity

Detects recombinant human OSM/Oncostatin-M (Catalog No: HB745011) in indirect ELISA
Flow cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human OSM antibody. KG-1 cells were fixed and permeabilized, then stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human OSM monoclonal antibody (Catalog HB745026, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L Polyclonal Antibody, FITC (abinScience: HF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
