背景	Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a ~68 kDa protein. Binds copper, nickel, and fatty acids as well as, and bilirubin less well than, serum albumin. Only a small percentage (less than 2%) of the human AFP shows estrogen-binding properties.

Flow Cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human AFP antibody.AFP Transfected CHO cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human AFP antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HY276010 ,Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-human antibody (Catalog # HF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
